Suzi Moore has spent more than 40 years working in animal behavior, bringing a depth of experience to her work that is hard to match. A graduate of the prestigious Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College, her early career involved hands-on work with a diverse array of species. This extensive experience honed her profound understanding of animal behavior and paved the way for the work she does today with dogs and cats.

Suzi is the team’s cat behavior specialist, with particular expertise in complex cases such as inter-cat aggression, introducing new cats into the home, and litter box concerns. While her primary focus shifted to cats in recent years, she also brings extensive experience working with fear and aggression in dogs. She is one of a select number of certified behavior consultants in Washington State.

Her work is grounded entirely in force-free, reward-based methods, with a strong emphasis on changing the underlying emotional responses that drive behavior. By addressing how an animal feels not just what they do—Suzi helps create meaningful, lasting change.

With a background that bridges veterinary care and behavior, along with additional training in modalities such as Tellington TTouch, Suzi takes a comprehensive, individualized approach to each case. She is known for helping clients better understand their pets, reduce stress within the household, and restore a sense of calm and connection so the pet they know and love can shine through in every situation.
